Dick Laursen Memorial Scholarship Recipient Named for 2008

The Texas Agricultural Irrigation Association would like to congratulate Carlee Archer for being named the 2008 Dick Laursen Memorial Scholarship recipient. Ms. Archer is the daughter of Eddie and Carie Archer and a senior at Chisum High School in Paris, TX. She is ranked as the top student in her class and has been active in many, many extra-curricular activities during her time at Chisum. She will be attending Texas A&M Commerce in the fall and plans on majoring in Plant and Soil Science with a minor in Agronomy. We at the TAIA wish her all the luck at school and in her future endeavors.
