The Texas Agricultural Irrigation Association celebrated its Silver Anniversary in connection with the Annual Membership Meeting October 3, 2016 in Fredericksburg. Founded in 1991, the Association celebrated 25 years of service to the irrigation industry in Texas and neighboring states. The 2019 Annual Meeting was held in conjunction with the 6th Annual Water College January 23, 2020. The banquet and meeting was held at Cagles Steaks & BBQ, 8732 4th Street, Lubbock, Texas. Guest speakers were Doug Stutler and Jerry Barrier of Bayer, who gave an overview of the new plant north of Lubbock. That was followed by the business meeting for election of board members and officers of the Association.
The 2018 Annual Meeting and Membership Banquet was held in conjunction with the Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show Wednesday, November 28, 6:30 pm at Youngblood's Cafe, 620 SW 16th Ave, Amarillo. Guest speaker was James Hunt, KGNC Radio. TAIA members and their guests enjoyed a fajita bar and conducted organization business including election of Board of Directors members and officers for 2019.
